Registration is now closed! We’ll host another one in fall - November 4-6 to be exact!
A two night cabin trip to rest, reflect, and seek God in community. The cost for the weekend is $80, and this includes accommodations, meals and snacks. Our weekend will be scheduled pretty loosely, and we’ll make time for singing worship, group discussions & prayer, guided reflection, a few group games and lots of downtime for relaxation, games, snacks, rest and conversations. We’re also going to have a murder mystery - you’ll get your character sent to you two weeks prior to the trip.
Where we're staying: We are staying in a beautiful duplex of ski lodges right beside the mountain in Sasquatch Park in Agassiz, BC. We have separate floors for male and female bedrooms/bathrooms. Beds are in shared rooms with ensuites, and are booked on a first come first serve basis (more info below). We have two common rooms with couches and fireplaces as well as two games rooms with ping pong tables, foosball tables, and projectors for movies. We also have hot tubs and saunas that will be available throughout the weekend. The proximity to nature and high quality amenities make this a pretty ideal escape to rest your body and soul.
What we're eating: We will be preparing meals for you and eating together on site. Our exact menu is still under construction, and we are willing to accommodate dietary restrictions so please let us know what they are! We will be providing snack on Friday night, 3 meals and a snack on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. We'll also have snacks and hot drinks available throughout the weekend.
Registration: To save yourself a spot, register using the form below by May 13th. There are a variety of beds - bunks, queens, pull-out, and couches. The price is the same for each, and booking is first come, first serve. If you'd like to share a room with someone in particular, let us know. To pay, you can e-transfer to office@broadwaychurchlife.com or you can pay in person by bringing cash, debit or cheque into the Broadway Church Office. If money is the only obstacle that would stop you from coming, please let us know and we can discreetly make arrangements to make sure you can join us.
What to bring: Meals, snacks and beverages will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks as well if you like. We ask that you refrain from bringing alcohol or drugs on this retreat. We'll have some board games and card games with us, but you are of course welcome to bring your own as well. Athletic clothes and a swim suit will be helpful if you want to hike or get in the hot tubs. A Bible, notebook and a pen will be very useful this weekend too. Bedding and towels are provided.
Carpooling: We'd love to cut down on how many vehicles are coming up - we can save some gas money and minimize our environmental impact while we're at it. Let us know on the registration form if you’re interested in participating.
We are expecting really good, life giving things for this weekend and we're already praying for what God will be doing in each of our lives as we set time aside to seek Him in community.
