A SEAT AT THE TABLE

Those who witnessed the daily life of Jesus wrote a lot of stories about the time he spent eating with people. He used meals to extend a welcome for those who had been excluded and strengthen relationships with his apprentices. He often used illustrations of feasts and banquets when teaching about heaven. During this season of our Young Adults community, we are focusing on the practice of sharing meals together. We have a monthly routine that includes eating together and making meals for members of our local community facing different challenges.
